Apprenticeship Week

The Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Building Trades Council and several Eastern Iowa apprenticeship programs are teaming up with The Gazette to publish a special section in November 2021, that will promote the many benefits of Iowa’s various apprenticeship programs.

The special section will give an overview of apprenticeship programs in general, along with more detailed information on area apprenticeship programs. The section also will profile several building trades professionals who got their start as apprentices and have built very successful careers for themselves.
